Who else has tomorrow off? Anyone also get Monday off? I don't. Whomp whomp. Oh well, next week is my last week before I'm off for a year, so I guess I'll let the one day slide.
I'm pretty tired today. I didn't sleep that well last night, for some reason I was just laying there awake around 3:30.
And THEN our power went out at about 6:30am as I was just about to start applying mascara. FUN! Thankfully the sun was nearly up, so there was enough light to get the job done at a window.
Tonight Derek is likely working late, as he didn't have to start today until 10am, so I think I'll just putter around getting random things done! Tomorrow I think will be another puttering day, Derek's off to help our electrician friend tile his entryway, Saturday is Easter dinner at my mom's and Sunday will either be hanging out at home or driving to London to see my family.
How is everyone else today? Any exciting Easter/Passover plans?

Morning ladies.
Im off the next 2 days. Yay for a long weekend. The kids are at DC and DH and I are getting ready to do some shopping and lunch. I'll admit it is weird not having the boys here, but nice to just sit and not have the tugging and climbing all over mommy.
No big plans for Easter. DH has to work so we'll do a small family dinner Saturday night and then an Easter egg hunt Sunday morning. We've also been invited to an egg hunt at the neighbors that afternoon so I'm hoping to bring the boys.

Yay Fake Friday! I am definitley looking forward to the long weekend, and we get Monday off too, so even better. We're heading back to NYC for the Easter weekend and then working from our local offices next week. It's great to be able to take a week to visit home and not really have to take the vacation time. So tonight will be spent packing up, since we want to bring a bunch of stuff back to put into storage. Thank goodness for high status with the airline, which lets us check 2 bags each at no cost!

Alas it's not fake Friday for me. I didn't even realize it was Easter until last weekend. I feel like I've been living in a hole. We may go to visit my parents on Sunday but we may not. My Mom is sick and I want her to get well and not "entertain" me.
It is my fake friday and even better my DH is off for a few days also.
Today is going to be busy DH is working at the house with his dad. I am leaving work at 1 to get the boys and take Preston for his checkup. I am hoping to go to old navy and pick up the boys a cute shirt to wear for easter sunday and then go see the easter bunny. I would love to make a pit stop at lowes if I have time also.
Tomorrow our painter is coming to paint the house (with a sprayer) and then we will be doing all of the cutting in. Hopefully we can get most of it done this weekend. Jordan has basbell practice tomorrow afternoon.
Saturday will be spent at the house working.
Sunday easter at my grandmothers with a easter egg hunt for the kiddos afterward. I am really looking foward to that.
My fake Friday was Tuesday! Yesterday was my day off for working Family Day in February and today I took off as a float day. I don't get Monday off but I have another float day next Thursday so it will be a 4 day work week anyways.
Last night was pretty low key. Just eggs for dinner and then hanging out with DH and cats being lazy.
I just got done my 3.5 mile run so I need to have shower. Today I have my 38 week OB appointment and 2nd check. It will be interesting to see if I've made any further progress.
Otherwise I think it will be another day of just cleaning and organizing and relaxing.
Last night we played with Jackson and watched him now try to chase the dogs. Swell. We also went to my MILs, which always turns out to be a mistake. That woman is just weird. She's always wanting to love no Jackson, like rubbing his back or his hands or just constantly needing to be touching him. Just let the kid play! I need to remember how much she aggravates me before I go over there. Also, every time we show her a photo or video, she instantly wants a copy. No! Leave me alone. Grrrr.
Tonight will be a doctor's appointment to make sure all of my levels are still good post-baby and then off to some mexican with a friend from work. It was supposed to be a big going away party, but we ended up just deciding to keep it small and chat. Tomorrow will be a big shindig at work for everyone to come by and say their goodbyes. I can't believe I've been here for 10 years. I'm ready for a change, for sure.

Tonight I am meeting a GP Nestie at Jaleo for dinner. I love me some sangria and tapas.
What was going to be just Easter lunch for me and Jim has now turned into Easter dinner for six at my SILs. Which is ok, but I don't really care for either option of cooking in her kitchen or cooking in mine and then humping it all across town, but I'm going to go with #2. We'll go to church in the morning and then, miraculously, I was able to get a reservation for brunch, so we'll eat lunch out.
That's about it for weekend plans for us.

No fake Friday for me. We're up against a deadline, and I'll be working Friday and Saturday. At least I'll get an alternate day off to make up for working the holiday.
I made my smoothie with chocolate Silk soy milk and blueberries. It's pretty good.
Off to work - I've been working on an issue for almost a week and I'm very close to solving the puzzle.

Today might be my fake Friday, I haven't officially decided yet. The office is open but I think I might take it off anyway. I took Monday off to go to the Rockies home opener so it would be nice to take Friday too and have a 4 day weekend.
Tonight we're meeting up with some friends for a drinks and appetizers to celebrate J's friends birthday, I'm excited to see a few people I haven't seen in months.
I am so jealous! I wanted to go to opening weekend. This weekend I am working on my papers and studying for a spanish test. My SIL is in town so we will spend sometime with her. Sunday is brunch with the IL and dinner with my family.
