H and I are looking to do a few days in Jamaica this Spring. I have never been, but I want to jump on a plane for 3 hours and be somewhere new. An all inclusive would be nice, but not necessary. Most importantly, we don't want somehwere with a lot of children. I would like to be able to sit by the pool and not having screaming kids around me splashing. This is more of a relaxation, romantic trip for us. We would only be there around 3 days. We just need a vacation. Can you reccommend any great places to stay with a nice beach area and great night bars? TIA!
Re: Resorts in Jamaica?
We went to Sandals Whitehouse for our honeymoon and LOVED it! It was super relaxing, very secluded, and just a great way to relax. The only downside is that its about a 90 minutes drive from the airport and the roads are horrible!
My sister has been to the Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay and she really enjoyed it. It was also adults only, but there were 3 resorts that you had access to, where only the suites guests had access to that resort.
Ditto, it was amazing!
I can't sing enough praise for Couples. AMAZING.

I would think about staying somewhere in Montego Bay or near if it is only 3 days. You will end up wasting some of your time going through customs and immigration as well as the long drive. If you do want to go somewhere further away, I suggest hiring a private driver.
I am a Sandals junkie (not everyone's favorite, we have just had good experiences with the resorts we have been to). Sandals Royal Carribean (a bit dated) is a nice intimate resort.
We are going to the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in May. Friends of ours went there for their honeymoon and loved it!
