Re: What's for dinner?

  • portobello mushroom burgers and rice balls.

  • idk. H went to his mom's house with Joaquin, and they're having baked chicken and broccoli.  I'm debating just having gelato, heh.

Gelato? I am jealous. Best dinner evah! Yes

We're having pork tenderloin. I can't decide if I'm making baked potato with that or sweet potato fries. I'll also make a green salad.

  • Steamed broccoli/cauli with a bit of blue cheese. Maybe a cheese stick - I've had a lot of protein today already.  And some vegetarian sloppy joe mix.
    Look with your special eyes.
  • U.S. Senate Bean Soup, made with, as my H calls them, "Senate beans."

    Baby Fuss calls them "NINES."

    I live with weirdos.

  • I vote for gelato broc.

I wonder if I could get away with serving ice cream for dinner tonight...

I'll probably do quinoa and veggies. I have some leftover tomato sauce, so that too. I don't feel like being creative.

  • Grilled turkey burgers and pineapple for kidlet and me, steak for H.
    Oh, FFS.

Who cooks? Is this 2 different dinners a regular thing?

  • It was going to be grilled pizza...then we burnt the crust and started the grill on fire. So, now we're having Jet's Pizza instead

I'm on the grilled turkey burger/grilled pineapple kick (and I don't like steak), H is like "um, no thanks" to the turkey burgers. I do the sides, he grills it all up. They all cook about the same time so it works out well.

I'm just excited he'll be home in time to actually have dinner together as a family for once! :) It's rare, so when we get the chance, we make good food!

    Oh, FFS.
  • I'm thinking chicken parm with some green beans. AND WINE.

    Yes

  • We're having broiled filet mignon (unless H gets home and decides he wants to grill) and "skinny Texas cheese fries" compliments of skinnytaste.com.  I'm excited about it.

    That makes sense, then.

  • Rice and bean taquitos and a Caesar salad. Lazy night and it takes no effort to make Spanish rice and Refried beans. I want to know why my iPhone thinks Refried is a proper noun...
  • Tonight is Buffalo Wild Wings with a friend, haha. But tomorrow night I'm making a stir fry (bok choy, tofu, onions, mushrooms, snap peas and seasonings) and spicy thai noodles with peanut sauce and red pepper flakes.
