Massage on the beach in Maui??
Do you think this will be relaxing or not? I have to book our massages tomorrow for the Hyatt Maui and wasn't sure if this is a good option or will we just be annoyed with the noise from people being outside on the beach. I can easily just book it for in the spa.
Just wanted to get your thoughts.
Re: Massage on the beach in Maui??
I'd skip it.
We didn't stay at the Hyatt but saw a half dozen different resorts doing this and all of them had tents near pools, bars, noise, etc. Most also required you tromping around public areas to get to the massage area (vs. enterning through the spa and taking a private path to a secluded outdoor area).
Just don't think 'tranquil' if you decide to do this.
We had massage at the Ritz in Maui and they have outdoor cabanas. The cabana we got was near the whirlpool and waiting area. there was a couple out there that was super loud and it annoyed me for about half my massage. I'd def do it inside next time. The cabanas were so far from the beach you couldnt hear any waves.
At the Sheraton Black rock the outdoor massages were in a tent RIGHT NEXT to the pool. That I would never pay for. It was in public view and very very loud.
