So I got two of the stila eyeshadow pallets because they were on sale, and so far I love them! The shadow lasts longer than my clinique ones that I'm currently replacing, so that makes me happy. There's a small amount of shimmer, but I think it's subtle enough to prevent me from looking like a stripper.
I also got the UD 24/7 liner in Zero. It is PHENOMENAL. I put it on around 6:30 yesterday morning, wore it all day at work, and then went to a high intensity interval class at the gym, where I sweat like a pig, and when I looked in the mirror, it looked just as good as when I put it on in the morning. I was afraid it was going to be really difficult to get it off, but it came off easy with my philosophy purity soap and water. Highly recommended. I'll probably pick up a few more colors now that I know how much I like it.
I also got the Ole Hendrikson (sp?) sampler pack. I've been looking to ramp up my skincare routine. I have large pores in my T-zone (which I blame on my italian heritage), some blotchiness in my cheeks, and I'm seeing first signs of aging around my eyes. I've been using the stuff as directed for the last few days and I'm already noticing a difference in my skin! The pores on my nose look smaller and the blotchiness is less noticeable. I don't see much of a difference around my eyes yet, but we'll see.
Overall, very happy with my purchases! Anyone else get anything worth recommending?
Re: Sephora haul reviews
I didn't get my order yet but I'm excited to try the Boscia vitamin c serum...I've been wanting to get a vit.c product and this one got pretty good reviews.
I also ordered Bobbi Brown extreme party mascara (my favorite mascara of all time). I highly recommend it!
My order came yesterday. I got the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder in Translucent (have not used yet), a purse atomizer that I filled last night with my Clean Warm Cotton sample (really like both), and they messed up the last of my order - I ordered a Sephora Classic Collection Rounded Crease Brush and they sent me a Clarisonic head. I don't even have a Clarisonic.
I haven't tried my other two samples yet - an Ouidad leave-in conditioner and the Ole Henricksen Truth Creme.
I ended up not getting the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer after some said it made them break out; I played it safe and stuck with the Bobbi Brown.
You're going to love the Ouidad.

Oh and I'll second the Stila eyeshadow love. I LOVE their eyeshadows. UD's eyeshadows are just as great and long lasting.
I will say I got Kat Von D's eyeliner pack that comes with 3 different tips and I'm not a big fan. They're actually not as easy as they say they are. I've found that I have more control with felt tip pens like Stila's more than the marker style that KVD uses. It also smudges really easily by the end of the day. I'm going back to Stila whenever I'm done with these (or can justify spending money on more eyeliner!)
Oh good! I've been looking for a better leave-in.
