groomy wouldn't buy me any. He said it's too close to the "attend meetings" line. And I didn't have time to go buy it myself. Now I'm going to have to wait until something like 12:30 to start drinking. TRAGIC!

It's pretty hypocritical, given that he's been known to swig whiskey straight from the bottle while grading student papers. But somehow that's not as bad since he grades at home.
I meant to pour the rest of our bourbon in a flask for as soon as I'm done here, but in my rush to get in early and start billing, I forgot. WOMP WOMP.
And this is why we make great IRL friends.
You need to trade that boy in. Drinking at work is always ok, the first time I did it I was 18 and it was with my boss who was at least 50

The single best development at work since I left for maternity leave is regular happy hours. I'm pissed the fun people took today off.
