NSOR - Hair extensions?
Anyone ever have them? I've been growing my hair out for a year and a half from pixie short to now about a chin length bob with bangs. I am DIEING for long hair and my hair is coarse and stubborn, and I know it grows because I have to recolor my roots every 4 weeks, but it just doesn't seem to get longer.
I was thinking about splurging for my birthday to get actual real hair extensions to about my shoulders. Wondering if anyone has had them and how the experience is?

A friend of mine had them, and they required a bunch of upkeep. In addition to the the initial I believe 1k to have them put in, she had to go back every six weeks or so to have them updated and that was quite expensive as well. I'd really consider the long term maintenance costs. Also I'm pretty sure it damaged her hair once she took them out, so it didn't really get her much farther in the growing out process.
It also took a really long time for her to care for them and they tangled like crazy. Could have just been her experience, but it doesn't seem worth it to me at.all.
Yeah I was thinking that...crap. Maybe I'll just suck it up and wait it out and keep getting regular trims. Its taking FOREVER.

I had my last haircut in October. Before that it was just trims every 6-8 weeks..i haven't even had a trim since October. It's just frustrating
