Laser Hair removal 1st treatment

Good morning everyone!

Just wanted to comment on my first session.. It was ummm ok.. I had my underarms and full brazilian done. .Underarms went well.. Bikini not so much... She got a little too close to the "delicate skin" and it left a slight burn :(... it isnt soooo bad but it isnt comfy. Make sure you try not to flinch if you are going to have it done. I sure hope I see some hair reduction or it will have been in vain. .

Re: Laser Hair removal 1st treatment

  • sorry to hear about your burn.

i paid for a 6 session bikini laser treatment.  i've had 2 sessions so far.

initially, i was pretty hairy.  surprisingly, i saw a lot less hair after my first treatment :)

i hope you have great results.

  • Remember, you won't get much hair reduction after just one session.  And make sure to space them out at least 8 weeks apart (due to hair having different growing times).  I've had 4 sessions done on my bikini (plus) and have some patches of no hair, some lighter hair and a few patches of thicker hair.  I hope to have a lot less by 6, though you aren't guaranteed no hair with laser hair removal, just lessened & lighter hair.  Lasers won't remove fine hairs....just the thick ones.

I think this depends on the type of laser.

I had laser hair removal performed with medical grade equip. (can only be used by an MD).  I went to a plastic surgeon.  After 3 sessions I have been 100% hair free for almost 9 years now.  P.S  I have very thick hair.  They were worried I may need a 4th tx because I have such thick hair.

My tx did cost twice a much as going to a 'salon' but in the end I probably spent less money.

    Good luck!
