What would you wear for this presentation?

I have to give a presentation in a couple of weeks. Their office where I'm doing the presentation is business professional Mon - Thurs, and casual on Friday. However, from what I understand, they can get creative with their business professional...i.e., doesn't always have to be gray or black suit with a button down, or matchy matchy.

The presentation is on a Friday, and I'm flying in THAT MORNING, so a plus goes for comfort and wrinkle-free...what would you wear??

I'm going shopping this weekend so bonus points for PIPs!

Re: What would you wear for this presentation?

  • I would do a simple jersey wrap dress with some accessories in a subtle color and a jacket.  You could do the dark blue, charcoal, or black dress and put a blazer over it to dress it up.  I'd go for a darker colors just in case something gets spilled on you to keep from having to worry about getting rid of a stain.  That would minimize wrinkle and maximize comfort.  You'd also be layered and could add or subtract layers when you get to your destination depending upon the weather.

  • I agree with formercity.  Jersey dress and pack the jacket.  If you get cold on the plane, you can wear leggings and a long cardigan over it with flats and swap out the flats, cardi and leggings for heels and a jacket when you arrive.
