What are you up to this weekend, H&F?
I'm going for a long run (9 miles) this morning. I got up extra early to have breakfast so I can run & be back/showered in time to take my kiddos to a birthday party. I think we're going to color eggs this afternoon, & chill out around the house with the family this evening. Tonight will definitely involve wine with DH.
Tomorrow is my normal long run day, but it's Easter, so we'll be driving to my parents house & have an egg hunt. Fingers crossed for dry weather in the NW.
What about you guys? Any fun H&F or Easter plans this weekend?
Re: What are you up to this weekend, H&F?
Today is my birthday! I am going for a run with my sister in law which I am excited about. She has been running for about 3 months, myself a year. It will probably be a 3 mile run. Tonight I am having a party with friends. Beer, burgers, and brownies (BBB!) will be part of the festivities.
Tomorrow we are having lunch at my in-laws. We are then going for a bike ride if the weather holds out.
Enjoy your weekend!
Sounds like a great weekend! And, Happy Birthday.
Gotta teach Bodycombat this morning (I don't usually teach Saturdays, but am subbing for the next few weeks) and then head to open gym at CrossFit to do some more skill work as we prep for the regionals.
Going to my aunt's house for Easter tomorrow and need to figure out what I'm bringing for dessert as well.
I ran a 5k this morning in 32:24. It wasn't a race, I just wanted to push myself as my race next week approaches. I am proud of myself. I think that is pretty good considering 8 weeks ago I could barely run for a minute. Now I am off H&F stuff until Monday.
We are taking the kids for a picnic in the park today. Beyond that we are just hanging out all weekend.
The kids had gymnastics this morning, and now we are headed to my parents house for Easter fun. I have nothing for their baskets yet...Actually, we don't even have baskets. I need to get on that ASAP.
H&Fwise, an easy 45 min run today, and a double digit stroller run planned for tomorrow. Nice weather for it!

I ran a ridonkulous 4mi of HILLLLLZ this morning. Now I'm about to go to lab. Whee.
This afternoon we'll be testing some recipes for our supper club in a couple of weeks, then going to the Irish Pub in town for dinner (read: BEER and MOAR BEER).
Tomorrow, Easter, is still up in the air. We were supposed to go spend it with a friend who lives 2 hours from here, but there's some serious epic drama going on with her and her SO right now, so we don't know if we're going, and have zero fallback Easter plans
Happy Womb Liberation Day!
Happy birthday! Enjoy your BBB!
I was going to get a run in this morning but then I started having braxton hicks after church yesterday and was up with contractions most of the night so today will be spent resting (contractions have pretty much stopped).
Tonight ILs are coming over for Chinese food as long as I'm feeling okay and we are supposed to go to my Dad's tomorrow for dinner.
Maybe I'll just try to get some walking in and if I feel better tomorrow, try and get a run in.
2012 Reading Challenge
Just got back from a 12 mile run. Need to go do some shopping today: booster seat for the table, a potty chair, shoes for the oldest *and* the youngest, maybe some new shorts for me, and all our Easter stuff. eta: dying eggs in there somewhere, too.
Tomorrow we're having breakfast out at my favorite restaurant and then I'm going to pick up my oldest from her grandparents.
Yes,I'm smiling...I'm a marathoner!

I did my long run yesterday (11 miles). It was not a good run at all,but I had a great session with my trainer this morning.
Today I'm running a lot of errands to get ready for hosting Easter dinner tomorrow. Hopefully that will make tomorrow semi-relaxing!
We did a ton of yardwork this morning, and I just got back from a 2 mile run.
Tomorrow I am planning on 6-7 and I will probably sand some more doors to paint!

I had dinner with DH in Georgetown last night. I really wish I were back home visiting family for Easter but DH has class today until 6PM so it's just not worth the drive. Today and tomorrow I'm writing a 15 page paper (yay for grad school
). I'm planning on a 4 mile run tomorrow morning before church and Easter brunch!
HBD!
Happy birthday, gncorman!
I got my legs ripped off a a metric century option of a local charity/century ride today. It felt great, but now I can't walk. It's my highest average speed of the year so far for a ride and my longest ride. Tonight DH and I may go out to eat after I go to the grocery store.
Tomorrow I am planning to mountain bike; DH is doing a road ride. Then I am going to spend some time cleaning the house (ugh!), and we are going to grill out tomorrow night.

Today: Ran 4 miles (wanted to do more, but I woke up with a bad headache and got a late start); met a friend for pedicures and lunch; went grocery shopping; now about to read for a while and maybe take a nap; tonight putting together stuff for our Easter brunch (I'm making light spinach-artichoke dip and Texas Caviar)
Tomorrow: Yoga in the morning if I can get up early enough (podcast at home); church with my parents; Easter brunch/potluck at my IL's; cleaning; Mad Men

This is late, but the hubs and I went away for the weekend and had a wonderful time. I hate like total crap, but we did go hiking on Saturday, so at least we got some exercise.
Then sunday when we got home we went to easter dinner at my sisters, which was nice.
