I guess it's time for me to own up.
I never finish anything.
I start a project, and either get bored with it, or don't have the ability or know-how to finish.
I got two big tree stumps in my front yard ground down the other day, and I guess I thought they took the shavings with them. No. I got home and there were two humongous mounds of wood chips in my front yard. I just spent a half hour shoveling as much as I can into my flowerbeds to use as mulch (ugly mulch, but mulch nonetheless) and I still have about half left and have no idea what to do with it. My arms hurt from shoveling...so the rest is staying there.
Till when?
No clue.
Probably until J takes pity on me and does something with it for me. He's nice like that ![]()
I also started painting my kitchen the other day, and don't like the color, and I'm procrastinating going to Lowe's to get more paint to finish. I hate painting. But I also hated the color of the kitchen that I've lived with for the last 2 and a half years since I bought the house.
I have all day to finish stuff...and here I am, lazy on the couch. But yet come Tuesday or Wednesday, I'm going to be saying in the middle of the workday, "Man, I need to be at home gettingshitdone!"
Siiigh...
Can someone schedule a procrastinator's intervention for me?

Re: Hi, I'm Emmii, and I never finish anythi...
For the wood chips I would ask your neighbors if they want any. I am pretty sure they will be gone soon.
As for the painting, I love to do it but I hate the prep work. Make it fun. I tend to listen to funny podcasts so I can concentrate on the podcast instead of the boring prep work. If I lived near you, I would totally volunteer to do it for you though.
I would....but I'd probably start and then get bored and move on to something else! (I'm also a procrastinator!!)
Well, the only thing I seem to have accomplished today is playing around with www.taaz.com.
lol
