Anyone use Nike+? Or is that old news?

I had never looked in to Nike+ products before but their are some neat option for iPod or their SportsBand/FuelBand.  Has anyone used these products?  Likes?  Dislikes?

Thanks.

  • I use the Nike+gps app on my IPhone and love it!
  • I used it exclusively before I got my Garmin.  I still use it when I'm inside on the treadmill.

  • I use Nike+ GPS on my iphone as well.  I wish it would give me just a bit more information on my splits, but I'm happy with it for now.
  • I love it!  Mine was having some problems, so I got a new pedometer and it works perfectly. $19 for a ped that lasted me 2-3 years isn't bad at all!

  • I use the app on my phone. For .99 I can't complain.  I tried to use the footpod thingy with my iPod and it never seemed to work right.
  • Hey I was just "lurking" for the same post!  I just got a new iPhone 4s.  Do I just need the app, or do I need to buy a shoe thingy too?  Before this I just used cardio trainer app on my droid.

Btw my name is April, this is my official HF intro!

  • I use either the Nike+ that's built in to the new iPod nano, or the Nike+ app for the iPod touch - it uses the accelerometer in the iPod, so you don't even need the foot pod.  I also run with a Garmin (with a footpod for treadmill runs), but I like having Nike+ for challenges and stuff like that.  I had the Nike+ long before I had the Garmin, so it's nice to have the history and I just can't quite give it up :)
