a tad bit late but Game Change

I cringe watching Sarah Palin. Ugh. Going rouge is so painful to watch.

Re: a tad bit late but Game Change

  • I am reading the book now, talk about a tad bit late!
  • I read the book when it came out and just watched the movie.  I didn't realize that apparently several McCain campaign staffers have basically come out and said everything is true.  What was so scary to me was that if even 20 percent of the stuff in the book is true, then we frankly dodged a bullet of having SP as veep.

By the end of the movie, I actually felt bad for McCain.  You realize that they didn't talk policy at his meeting with her before offering her the position because you generally assume that someone who is a governor would have a decent grasp of domestic policy and would be smart enough and experienced enough with learning on the go to learn enough foreign policy.  That turned out to be a faulty assumption.

Yeah, you do feel bad for McCain because he seems to be so normal and sane. I can't believe that you would not do a better job of vetting her. That lapse is just scary. To have a  VP who is so ill prepared is downright loco.
