As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Hey everyone.
I lurk daily but almost never post, but I had something I wanted to say.
I think you all are a pretty level headed group. Your conversations have been an eye opener for me. I had some pretty rigid thoughts on a lot of things that everyone here has helped me see are ridiculous.
I was staunchly Pro-Life and found abortion abominable, but recently my thoughts have changed, thanks to everyone here. While how I feel about abortions hasn't changed much, I can safely say I'm Pro-Choice now. It really isn't the government's business what goes on in regards to a woman's body. That's for her, and her alone, to decide. I don't have to agree or like it, but I do have to respect it.
That's just one of many things that this board has helped me see more clearly.
So, keep on doing what you're doing. It may seem like simple conversation, but it can help people that may be ignorant to things (much like I was, and in many ways, still am) find some solid thinking.
