Those with Tattoos..
Hey, not sure where to put this so I figured this would be a good enough place to post. lol
I'm getting tattooed by the apprentice at the shop I usually go to on Thursday. He's doing 20$ tattoos. Don't worry I've seen his work and he is awesome! : )
Question is, how much should I tip him? I don't know the etiquette for tipping an apprentice.. Thanks in advance for your input!

Tip him on the quality of the work not on the price of the tattoo. He's trying to build his portfolio and log hours so tip him what you thing he deserves (ie if you think you got the equivalent of a 200 piece of work, tip him accordingly). Who know when you may see him again
Im sorry, but this is a HUGE red flag for me. How long has he been apprenticing? How detailed is the piece you're getting? I'm worried for you. Can you PIP some of his other stuff? I'd really hate for you to get a tattoo you won't be happy with so you could be a learning tool for someone, because it was cheap.
