Today was my mom's birthday.
I hate her birthday, especially when it falls on Easter. The first birthday after she died fell on Easter and after everyone left after I hosted I cried for an hour. I hate that Grace doesn't remember her. I hate that she never saw the boys. I hate that I'm left with a father who I only see because I work with him and has a wife who treats me like sh!t. I hate that her brother died without ever getting in touch with us and now her entire family is gone. And with that, Happy Easter, y'all.

It's not the typical "how to grieve" book. I promise. Just letters from women who have lost their mothers. I get some good cries out of it---but good cries.
Sorry for your loss. I hate being part of this "club", as my sister and I call it.
