I'm working on collecting my stories from China and just tossing up random stuff to try to work on my writing style. My big dream is to write a book one day about my time in China and maybe some kids books. So I figure that if I keep at it I may be ready to actually write something by the time I'm 50. (ish)
I get discouraged because my blog doesn't have a value like most others, it's not full of travel tips, great photography, parenting advice, cooking recipes or the devotion to any kind of "movement". It's not even a consistent topic, other than well, notes for their therapist in the future. So I'm just kind of testing the waters and having a bit of fun with it while I compile my China stories and re-write them in a style I like better. (still working on it. The elevator and screwdriver stories need work - pictures and a lot of editing. )
Anyway, cheers elentxu, that was a really nice pick me up for the day!

I'm very serious when I ask you to let me know when you publish your book. You had me in stitches (but very quiet laughter, lest I wake up DH and my "me time" finishes) with your stories.
Don't get discouraged about not being a "typical" blog;. F*** the traditional style, I read yours in one sitting. That doesn't happen with most blogs.

Did you have last week off, or just a long weekend?
I'm just happy to have a week in which I'm almost certain neither to get a cold nor to be in danger of catching lice. I do miss the munchkins already though.
