Wen or Hair One?

I'm trying to decide if I should splurge and try Wen, or if I should try Hair One first and see if I like it.

Also, I have highlighted hair, so which should I get?  It looks like Fig would be the best choice with Wen?

My one concern about Wen is reading the number of pumps it takes.  I shampoo every day and am unlikely to change that because my scalp gets itchy and irritated if I don't shampoo often.  I have fine, shoulder length hair, but am growing it out several inches.  At $30 a bottle, I really don't want to go through more than one bottle a month.  How long do you think one bottle will last me?

Re: Wen or Hair One?

  • I see that I can get a 32 oz. bottle from QVC for $49, as opposed to a 16 oz bottle from the Wen site for $30.
  • I bought Hair One for DH to try, he has dry curly hair and likes it. But he only washes every few days, sometimes only once a week. I used it a few times, and I am a daily washer for the most part. I liked it, but went back to shampoo for cost. DH will stick with the Hair One.
  • I tried the One and the problem for me was how long it took to get your hair washed. If I remember you have to leave it on a certain amount of time, wet your hair several minutes, rinse for more minutes, and to me it was a hassle. I imagine you wouldn't be do it every day with the One.
  • i have tried both. i did not like hair one and do not think it is equivalent to wen (though the reviews suggest that they are the same). i LOVE wen - i use the fig one. unfortunately, it takes off my no-chip manicure, so i can only use it when i do not have a no chip.
