Shaving vs trimming

I always used to keep things shaved, but dh likes hair..so I have begun just trimming w my venus razor. However right after I shave it is too short and irrites his *** when we have seAny idead what I couls use to trim that wouldnt make it too short? he would be fine w me looking like it was 1970 but I cant stand too much hair.

Re: Shaving vs trimming

  • I just use a pair of scissors carefully.  I am not a fan of full bush and I get horrible bumps when I shave, so a short trimmed area is my preference.

No one should need a machete to get to my clit!

  • They actually make trimmers specifically for that. I did a quick google search out of curiosity (I'm a hardcore shaver) and the one that popped up was called Jenna's Hot Trimmer, but I'm sure there are plenty of other choices. One of my roommates a while back used one and LOVED it, but I don't remember what it was called. It might be worth looking into!
  • I have the Schick razor that has an electric trimmer on the end.  It has an adjustable guard (like men's hair clippers) so you can keep the hair a bit longer by adjusting the guard.  I've used this razor for years and love it! I think batteries are included and they last a long time.  You can get it at any drugstore.

  • Hey Ladies.....I was just lurking and thought I would throw in my two cents. I'm a strong believer in trimming. Remington makes a. trimmer in a purple box got mine at target...I think its on their website. Its affordable..less than $20 and it comes with a buffer, a guard, small clippers and then larger ones. plus its rechargeable. so far no problems and no irritation. I also use bekini zone afterwards just in case. sorry for any typos....I'm using my phone to respong

  • I use a men's beard trimmer. The guard is adjustable, so you can certainly find the right length. Plus, it's fun to change it up from time to time! Bonus points if he notices.
  • Thanks! Will try one of those next time.
