What's on your agenda for this week? Did you enjoy your Easter weekend? How about a menu plan?

Re: Good Morning MN!
I have an interview today and then starting Thurs. I'm on orders helping out with some kids going through their medical screening before they deploy. I'm excited to finally get some income but I'm not excited I have to work over the weekend. But K will be gone anyway so it works out.
Our Easter was not traditional and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We slept in, made kielbasa and sauerkraut for lunch, had our own mini bible study at home. Then we went to the neighbors for dinner(I took buffalo chicken dip) we ate, laughed, and then played drunk jenga. Good times had by all!
Today I'm finally getting around to those Chick-Fil-A bites.
Tomorrow - Blue cheese stuffed burgers(for him, mine will have goat cheese)
Wed - Spicy shrimp and goat cheese quesadillas
Thurs - something crock pot since I'll be on orders
Friday - left overs since K will be leaving
Good morning!
I'm taking my in-laws for a tour of the flight line today and then meeting DH for lunch. Tomorrow I'm leaving for Austin and then Wednesday morning I fly out to CA to meet my sister for her surgery. I'm leaving DS here with MIL and I'm super nervous about it, but I know he'll be fine.
I'm actually kind of excited to travel alone again. I'm looking forward to reading/sleeping on the plane instead of trying to entertain a baby.
I don't have a menu plan. DH and I are going out out tonight and then MIL will be cooking for herself and DH for the rest of the week.
Morning!
I'm working as usual. I think I need to go grocery shopping on my lunch hour because we literally have nothing in the house...we were scrambling to for food to send with Sophia for breakfast and lunch.
Easter was nice, we went to my aunt's for a potluck like we always do. My sister who is still giving me the silent treatment announced she is pregnant again which I guessed about two seconds after she showed up.
Morning!
Doing laundry today and getting some paperwork together for my passport meeting tomorrow. Easter was just another Sunday for us. M didn't really celebrate is as a child and we don't have kids so an egg hunt just isn't as fun with the two of us. I made lasagna and focaccia bread and it was delicious.
Meal plan for the week is kind of lacking. I need to go through all my recipes and see what sounds good. Tonight is something with chicken.
I'm dragging this morning, and my boss is out all week so I have zero motivation to do anything....but I have a short week! Heading to VA Beach at the end of the week to meet up with some knotties! I have to organize and send off my receipts from my interview trip and send out a thank you note to the team--hopefully I hear something next week about the job!
I'm regretting agreeing to go up to my ILs for Easter, having traveled and gone through all the stress of interviewing at the end of last week and then having to put up with them for two days. I might be grumpy today....
Good morning! I have a lot of organizing to do around the house and I need to work on general cleaning today.
Our meal list this week:
Monday: Pork chops with corn bread and broccoli
Tuesday: Salmon with roasted veggies and risotto
Wednesday: Meatloaf with roasted veggies and mashed sweet potatoes
Thursday: Pasta, pan fried chicken and green beans
Friday: Ham with homemade bread and roasted veggies
We really like our roasted veggies around here
I saw your post on FB, you scared me a bit! I'm glad you and wee one are ok. Did you get a doughnut to sit on? And where are you playing bingo where you win that kinda cash? Sign. Me. Up.
I think I finally have my allergies under control for the most part with some Allegra which is a relief. Yesterday was a good day. I ate way too much food...oh well. My new running shoes are coming this week and I'm really excited. I can't wait to try them out. I was also told last Wednesday that I should get the phone call on the job I interviewed for some time this week...finally. They were trying to open some additional per diem positions before they made any decisions. Other than that I'm pretty much doing the same boring stuff, working out and school.
Apparently I scared quite a few people at the service... so I posted it on FB that everything was all good. I have no donut, but I have a boppy pillow!
Our base puts on Bingo every Monday night, there are two opportunities to win 1200 bucks, but after a certain number of turns the prize drops to 375 for one and 500 for the other. I won 100 on another game, and the 500 prize, but I had to split it between two other people ( I totally said BINGO first though!) The games and everything cost us about 70 bucks for both of us, + a sitter, but we almost always win our money back. And you can eat/ order from the bar. It's awesome! There wasn't many people there tonight which is probably why I won more. Lol.
I just bought some Allegra to see if it helps. My Zyrtec wasn't helping and I was taking benadryl on top of it. I'm dying a slow death and it's all PA's fault. lol. Let me know how you like the shoes!
Oh, and

This week is totally up in the air. Caroline is sick, has some virus that the doc says could make her get a whole body rash. Delightful. And of course c is TDY.
Menu for this week includes ham and bean soup from leftover Easter dinner, probably grill some chili lime chicken with rice and beans.
If you need anything letme know!
Today just chilling at the house.

Good morning! The only plans I have on my agenda for the week other than work are wedding plans. And to call the roller skating rink to book B's birthday party there. Too many things to plan at the same time!
We went to the cabin on Thursday night so we spent the weekend there. Had a pretty untraditional day yesterday except for B hunting Easter eggs. It was nice and we hardly talked wedding at all. His mom is still irritating me with the planning stuff, but we are supposed to have breakfast on Saturday with my mom, her, and my fsil to talk about everything so we'll see how that goes.
No menu plan because I suck at planning ahead of time!

We had a nice weekend. Saturday was the egg hunt at our church. The little people cleaned up on candy and prizes. Sunday, we went to church and then lunch at my grandma's. She set up another hunt for my kids and my nephew. She likes to put dollar bills and quarters in some of the eggs, as well as candy and stickers. They had a blast. My two older kids were with their dad for the weekend. We went back to my grandma's for dinner after they came home.
This week for dinner:
Monday: Left overs
Tues: Beef stew, mashed potaoes and steamed veggies.
Wed: crock pot bbq chicken strips, sweet potatoes and green beans
Thurs: out My oldest daughter has a 630 soccer game. We'll eat out after.
Friday: Home made pizza
Sat and Sun: Who knows
Good morning!!
Our weekend was quiet - our first Easter away from family.
H let me sleep in and he hid Easter eggs around the apartment for me.
We dyed eggs and let our bunny rabbit have roam of the house for most of the day and played with the kitty.
Then we made dinner together and that was about it.
Hope everyone else had a good Easter.
We had a pretty low-key easter too. We went to church for the first time in months. It was refreshing to go, I am glad we did. Then we came home and cleaned like mad people for our guests that were coming in. They are moving to Germany in a few days out of Baltimore, so they made the trip up to see us. It was so great to see them.
Nothing much going on here. Just doing school work and enjoying the quiet. My house is spotless. And I love it.
We went to Disney for Easter. It was very busy.. definitely more than expected, but still fun.
Today: I have a roast in the crock pot so I might make so baked chimichangas or tacos
Tuesday: Tomato, Basil & Parmesan soup
Wednesday: Grilled chicken with mango peach salsa
Thursday: Stuffed peppers with Turkey
Friday: Coconut chicken salad with a honey viniagrette
Saturday: Date night
ETA: Fixed because I can't talk on the phone and type at the same time.
My new living room furniture is being delivered tonight! We've lived here a year and I'm looking forward to finally having a place to sit.
I have a chiropractor appointment tomorrow and breastfeeding group later in the week, so my week will be busy, but good. Can't freaking wait to see if my low back will line up.
I stopped cooking about six months ago, so no meal plan. I did make some quiche over the weekend and made extra for the freezer. I'm surprised how easy it was.
How are you feeling? Other than the obvious lower back pain.
Easter here was wonderful. At one point E and my MIL looked at me and asked if someone slipped me Valium or something because I was so relaxed which is really unusual for me when it comes to holidays. But everything was delicious and I didn't stress which was lovely. We took my Dad and his GF to the airport, they are spending the week in Cosomul(sp?), Mexico. I think it will be fun for him. We have IL's dog until later today they stayed at a cute little resort in Old Town last night. I can't wait for them to come back. Poor Max has been a wreck since they left last night.
We have a plethora of leftovers from yesterday so we will be eating that all week.
Overall I'd say this is actually the best I've felt. I don't think I had any of that 2nd Tri energy people speak of...my body appears to have been holding out for closer to 3rd Tri. I managed to get a coat of paint on the boys' bedroom walls yesterday, I was able to walk for the whole hospital tour and a trip to the mall right after, so I'm feeling pretty normal!
My girls and I trekked up to AL to visit DH for the day. It was so wonderful to see him. He was really distant and unable to relax for the first hour or so which made me sad, but it was the first time in over 6 weeks he's had any time to himself. He didn't know how to smile and have fun! Not sure if we'll get to visit again before graduation since he has a pretty important role in his squadron, but we'll see.
Both of the girls woke up with runny noses and fevers. They're taking early naps right now and I'm praying they get over the ickies soon.
I know I'm making butternut squash and leek soup for dinner tonight but I am not sure about the rest of the week. I suck at meal planning for myself and a toddler!
This week is kinda crazy... I've got my knitting group tonight, with some errands to run before it, tomorrow I'm making my first batch of jam in _years_! (DH is thrilled), wednesday I've got my weight watchers meeting, thursday I'm taking a buddy out to a yarn shop in one of the nearby towns as a pick-me-up (her husband has recently deployed), and Friday, well, I think I'll finally be able to take it easy... Unless I decide to make more jam.
Suppers will be relatively simple. I've realized just how crazy messy the pantry has grown, and I am hoping to create meals to clear our some of the excess in there. Combined with the excess food in the freezer, and we can eat for a while...
Easter weekend was a blast! DH and I went out hiking on both Saturday and Sunday. It's our first hikes of the spring, so we planned on doing easier, shorter ones. Saturday was a great re-intro to hiking. Sunday's hike turned out a bit different than planned, though - the park had been damaged by ice and wind storms over the winter, and they had barely managed to clear even one of the really short trails there. So we decided to tackle a couple of the longer trails, and that meant climbing over fallen trees and deadfall and around big rootballs from other trees that had fallen, and walking on non-packed forest floor with 6+ inches of soft, squishable ground cover (fallen pine branches, leaves, whatever else...). That was _so_ much fun!
However, it did make it very obvious that I need hiking boots... I was doing these hikes in basic athletic shoes. The store where we found DH's boots didn't have anything that worked for me, but they suggested we go to one of their locations an hour or two away from here (huge store, more selection). I plan on convincing DH we should make time to go up there this coming weekend.
