I am thinking I need to schedule an intervention. However, I do admit to being supportive of it. Any ideas of how she can start a fashion blog, she really wants too. It is also a sad realization that your 18 year old child has more class and cash than you ever will ![]()

These but in fire engine red which appears sold out

and a chambray shirt from Forever XXI to wear with the red jeggings, and two shirts from Old Navy.
Then she almost cried all the way home
Re: So, my kid went on a bender Saturday
Ask Veronatheycallmekate?
She's popular and fashiony.
Also, I have those pants in blue and a chambray shirt.
Now living in GA I know I should probably get some rain boots but I won't pay for Hunters. I'm getting Targets.
I guess I'm not understanding why she cried all the way home.

Out of joy?
Cute stuff, I can completely see your daughter wearing that!
Or she spent all her Spring Clothes money and now it's all gone?
Could be anything really.
I love my Hunters - I have two pairs, lol! Hot pink and yellow.
Cute stuff!
For a blog, though, tell her to sign up for wordpress or blogger (I prefer wordpress) for free - if it eventually becomes something she is really enjoying, she can register her domain and stuff and not have the "wordpress.com." I have a bunch of fashion blogs I read (and I'm sure SMo does too) that I could send you so she could get an idea of what content is enjoyable to read. My advice is to come up with a schedule of things she wants to blog about to make sure she keeps up with it. I am terrible on my family blog and that was my plan for the kids' fashion blog thing (that I am still going to do - but my partner had a bunch of family/marriage drama and we put it on hold - I am finally thinking that I should just do it myself).

Actually I LOVE that in my daughter. She has way more style sense, (but limited cash now),. Where is your daughter getting the $$ for her fashion spluges?
combination off all of the above...she had saved a ton of money toward college so she was really proud of that, but she is also wanted to make her wardrobe more trendy and adult...so she was sad to see the money go but proud of her purchases
What's chambray?
<-----no fashion sense
She works and she also has had control of her child support since she was 15
I went through a few pair of rain boots (um... we get some rain here in Seattle, you know) and they were either hella uncomfortable or they would split and therefore no longer be waterproof. I'm kind of tough on them (wear them all the time for weeks on end, wear them slogging through dog parks, etc)
...then I came across a pair of Hunters on mega clearance at REI. Black, but shorter... these:
And they're holding up really, really well. Comfy, and showing no signs of splitting.
I am the 99%.
