Army Wives 4/8 with spoilers
What did you think about tonights episode?
The Kidney Failure with CJ took me my surprise but I'm guessing she won't be on the next few episodes since she will be with her family. I feel like this left the Jackie storyline hanging.
I hope Denise is a match for the kidney.
As a former military brat I loved the story line with Finn's birthday and getting his ID card. I remember that being the highlight of my 10th birthday . I loved the cake and wish I had something like that.
Also it was interesting seeing Kelli Martin- I love her ( from way back in the Life Goes On Days) and was excited when I saw her name on the opening credits but I totally didn't recognize her until her third or fourth scene. She looked much older than I anticipated or maybe it was the "Army Look".

Well, atleast CJ isn't blind like everyone predicted last week, but kidney failure is unfortunate. I know if someone I loved needed a kidney, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to get tested to see if I was a match, so yay for Emmalyn.
Interested to see what will happen with the Jackie storyline....brush it under the rug, forgive and forget? Maybe she'll donate her kidney, haha.

I said to DH that Kelli Martin looked "hard" - but maybe that was supposed to be the Army Look? She looked like she was not aging well, def much older than when she was on ER (which was prob forever ago, I know)
As for the Jackie storyline, the one I thought might be interesting is that maybe since she doesn't do well with deployments that she made up that story that Audrey told Claudia Joy about why she left her husband and is just a lunatic about stuff like that... or maybe it's true as he was pulling Kelli Martin to his side to tell him all about the other country on the flight over there...

Guess that one is out! Well, actually, it wouldn't have stopped someone from making a move on her, but she wouldn't have reciprocated. I'm surprised they were only gone a week though!
