Re: November
That sounds really good! We had a great time. Friday night we went to my step-sister's house and had a fun evening - great food. My fave was the quinoa salad (almost like tabouleh but with quinoa instead) and the broccoli souffle. Miles ate brisket for the first time and loved it. Saturday we went to my mom's house and had more yummy food - chicken, brisket, an awesome brussels sprouts dish. And my charoset was the bomb.
The seders were kind of sad though. Each was under 10 minutes because the children were not behaving. At one point in the middle of a 10 minute seder, Miles took a sip of sparkling cider and yelled loudly "EWWWW. GROSS!" Uh, sorry folks. Don't mind us.
I was confused by part of this Seder. I have read about the hiding of the Afikomen (sp?) and I was waiting but they tried to do something different this year. Kind of like a trivia game. The kids were really kind of mean to me during it (because I am not Jewish) but they can suck it because I knew a bunch of the answers. lol.
I also had Moses kosher for Passover vodka to help me through it.
