The lighting on these pics is terrible, so I apologize. The quilt is actually all super soft colors with an emphasis on a springy green shade.

I did a self-bind on this one that wraps the backing fabric around each side to create the binding- it was super easy and I think it looks great.

I found a super cute quilt on flickr that I based the pattern off of- it said it was a "Hopscotch" quilt- it has 9 patches, but I don't think it is a disappearing 9 patch- each block has 9 different sized pieces and the tutorials I'm seeing for those it looks like there are 3 different sized pieces per small square. So, maybe, but probably not? I'm not 100% sure

Disappearing 9 patch you make a 9 patch, cut it in quarters, rearrange and sew them back together. I've never done it, but this looks similar.
