I don't really follow basketball, but I thought he was doing well? I wonder if it has anything to do with the konstant Kardashian drama?

ETA: Oh, just saw he had a really bad year. Probably has more to do with that lol

Re: Dallas dumped Lamar Odom
At some point, he admitted that he didn't spend enough time working out during the offseason and the strike. The NBA season didn't start until late December and guess what he was doing before that? Filming his reality show. He was in bad shape which is why the Lakers traded him and he sucked at Dallas.
I know most people hate him but Kris Humphries spent a lot of time during the strike working on his game (they showed it on KK Take NY) and he is currently averaging 13 pts a game and 11 rebounds which are good numbers for him.
You know what would be hilarious? If Lamar got traded to Minnesota and Khloe moved there. I wonder if she would downright refuse to move there like Kim. Anyways, I'm sure some of Lamar's lack of success this season is because of the distraction of being married to a fame whore. It will be sad if he doesn't get picked up by another team and he goes by the wayside like other reality star athlete husbands (Hank Baskett).
He did not spend as much time preparing for the season but he did have a rough off season with the death of a family member & he was in a car that hit a pedestrian. I don't think it is fair to blame it on his role in reality tv as he was in his best shape last season and he was filming before that one too. Additionally, LA did not trade him because he "sucked" it was because they hoped to get Chris Paul.
They would be crazy to pass up a chance to get Chris Paul and keep a veteran.
LO is not in the prime of his career, he is 32. Many people including Kobe felt that Dallas did not know how to use LO and his talents.
I don't think LA trading Lamar had anything to do with what kind of shape he was in. As PP stated, they wanted Chris Paul.
I don't think Lamar's head or heart was ever in Dallas. The Lakers were like his family and it was a huge crush to his ego when they traded him.
In addition to the death in his family and car accident, isn't his dad also sick? I thought that was why he took that break a few months ago.

Agree 100%. I don't think he ever wanted to be here.
I agree with all of this.
