Do you get visitors at your job?
I have had at least 5 people come in just to say hi to people who work here. Maybe it's because we are just a newspaper and most of us can get up and walk around, but I could not imagine just showing up to my friend's work to say hi.
But then again they all work at either a hospital, jail, or accounting firm.
Re: Do you get visitors at your job?
I don't get visitors here. But I work at a youth shelter and it is a confidential location. I also work 30 miles from home.
I have, however, visited friends and family at work. I guess it just depends on hat type of business it is and the company's attitude towards visitors.

Yes, I personally get visitors and everyone who works here has visitors from time to time.
My daughter also comes to work with my in the mornings for about 30 minutes and then Guy picks her up from here and takes her home. Several others bring their children when they need to as well.
This office is more laid back than our home office, but even when I worked at the home office it was the same way.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!

Smae here. And, when they do come, I have to go out to the common area to visit (ex: cafe). My actual office has all sorts of HIPAA protected info so the only people allowed to cross the threashold are those who have been granted certification.
