Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

FYI - Like button/+1 on profiles
They're being removed from public view, but will be there in private view so the account holder will still be able to see it and share if they want. Which makes certain sense since some people spend a lot of time creating pretty bios to share.
Also, the buttons have apparently been there for 2 years, and no one noticed to complain until now.
A big old middle finger to you, stupid Nest.

The people on the MN board stalk profiles and are pretty cognizant about persec. I think at least one of them would have noticed it before now.
