Anyone else already planning you're second anniversary yet?
Re: 2nd anniversary plans?
I was just thinking about this the other day. I think we're going to try to go somewhere the weekend before since our anniversary falls on a Tuesday this year. I had an idea of renting a cabin in the mountains of West Virginia for the weekend. There are some really cute ones that have private hot tubs, indoor jacuzzis etc for around $170 a night so I think that'd would be something fun and different.
We haven't made the reservation yet but I think we've picked where we want to stay and apparently there is no cell phone service for 5 miles...which is kind of cool and creepy at the same time lol. I think I watch too many horror movies where people get killed in the woods lol, but I am sure it'll actually be a nice change to be completely unplugged from the outside world for a few days. I'm really excited about it; I think we're going to book it within the next few weeks once our bank accounts recover from hosting Easter.
Vegas sounds like a lot of fun; I've never been. How far of a drive is it from you? I say you make it a yearly anniversary tradition since that's where your honeymoon was.
Agreed with you on the whole horror movies in woods that was the first thing i thought of when i saw 5 miles no cell phone service! But it would be nice to just forget the world around you for a few days!
Were in Tucson Az so it's about a 7 hour drive (not including my stop at the dam and at Boulder city) so about 407 miles one way. I keep telling him every year we gotta go back. He's game and hes got some friends that are gonna drive in from Utah that were gonna meet up with too so it should be fun!
We don't have anything specific planned for out 2nd. I'm sure we'll probably just go out to a nice dinner or something.
We're taking our vacation in July to Alaska, and that's basically going to use up most of our vacation time.
But Vegas sounds awesome! I've still never been, and I'd love to go.
Oooh Alaska!! that sounds like a fun Trip! Will be getting lots of photos when you get back Right!?!?!
Oh yeah! I can't wait to take pictures out there. I'll have to do a post about it when I get back.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermWe have nothing planned for our second, but we have talked about something for our 3rd anniversary....
DH has lost a ton of weight since we were married (currently almost 60 lbs) and we have discussed getting all dressed up and retaking some wedding pictures. This October will be a little too close to baby time for me to be sure I will fit back in my dress. We could really do it anytime of year, but if we stick to October the foilage should be similar for outdoor pictures.
