Gap sizing
My Gap store never has my size so I thought about trying something from online. I wear a 0 short in AE jeans. I'm 5'1", and while I'm small, I definitely don't have chicken legs (I kinda wish though 
), they are pretty muscular. I like my pants low on the waist, but I have to be careful that the crotch doesn't go down too far, making my legs look shorter than they already are.
If you have experience with Gap pants, how do you find them to fit? Compared to AE? Do they run big? Thanks!
Re: Gap sizing
Gap sizing is all over the place for me. I normally wear a 4 from there (and most places) but the perfect trousers I have to go down to a 2. Some of the jeans I can almost go up to a 6 in, but they stretch so I end up getting a 4 and not drying them very often.
I find that I have to try on things across colors too - I have two pairs of the cropped khaki type pants from last year - one is a 4, one is a 2. I'm thinking since you're a 0 you'll just have to go with that and retun what doesn't fit. I size down there more than I size up.

ETA: Compared to AE I think Gap runs larger. The 4 at AE is usually too tight on me - no way could I go down to a 2 there in anything.
