Has anyone ever done a dude ranch vacation? I am looking for something more on the luxury side, preferably with all meals included.
Also, I am looking to go in early October, so I know that many dude ranches aren't operating that late in the season.
Any recommendations would be appreciated! THANKS!
Re: Dude Ranch?
I've been to the Box R outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

It was years and years ago, my friend's dad used to hunt big game sheep with the owner. (like 1992-ish)
It was not luxurious, the accommodations and food were lovely but we were up at 6 and rode all day, every day. I had to make an excuse on the third day and had to lay spreadeagle in a hot bathtub for several hours.
They may have softer programs nowadays.
But anyway the Tetons were freaking gorgeous on horseback.
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
When I was little we went to Wilderness Trails Ranch outside of Durango, Colorado, a couple of times.
I wouldn't call it luxurious, but we stayed in a cabin, had good meals, had nightly entertainment, and plenty of trail rides.
I just read about this place recently because it was included in a list of top 10 all-inclusives.

Not sure about luxurious, but I went here with my parents many years ago. It was pretty nice, lots of activities, and food included. And gorgeous location.

Go to brush creek ranch in Wyoming.
It is beyond amazing! I went to a wedding there last spring.
