@ My 4 year old is killing me

The last two nights he's run a temp of over 102, but he's full of energy all day long. He can't go to school until he's fever free for 24 hours. I'm trying to work and he talks non stop.

Also, I read that most bed wetting is caused by constipation. I started slipping miralax into his milk. He hasn't wet the bed in 5 nights, but he still poops in his pants (he was doing this before the miralax....when is he going to stop doing this? Ped said he is being stubborn.

  • ok I have a question. DD often wets her pants during nap time at daycare. I thought it was mostly her diapers were too small, and she was in a bad habit of not peeing all morning and then peeing in her sleep during nap time and I guess going a ton all at once. But she has the bigger ones on now and it happened just yesterday.

All this *secret* constipation talk has me worried. She poos every day, but i know they can still be constipated even with that. How much *off* peeing needs to happen before I look into this further? What are the tests I need done to get a confident answer?

    sorry to post jack.

Since he poops his pants I'm intimately familiar with his poops.

He was pooping every day, but they were pretty solid and not too much. (maybe 6" long).

Since I started the miralax 2 weeks ago the amount is much greater and much softer.
