If you ask ten people you'll get ten answers. This depends so very much on enlisted/officer, MOS (job), what base you're at, how old you are, if you have kids, if you have pets, if you're in school, if you work, if you want to work or be in school, if you like the navy, if you have a head cold, if you live on base, etc etc etc.

Ha! No joke.
Today? I hate the Air Force. Why? Because I have a killer migraine I've had since Saturday and of course is the AF's fault.
Kidding.
But it really does depend on so many things and honestly.. it has a lot to do with the day as well. Sometimes I'm like "YEAH!! [fist pump] I LOVE being an AF wife". Other days I think it's the worst thing ever and I can't wait until (if) he gets out.
Like the other posters said, it really depends on the person, your attitude, your situation and the specific day you ask someone.
There is a button in my siggy that will lead you to our FAQ page. There is a ton of info there that you might find helpful. Also, lurk here. You'll get a decent idea about every day life lurking and reading our posts. Jump in and ask questions when you have them. We were all new here once. We don't mind answering questions for you.

Accept what you married into. You knew what you were signing up for. It's not always easy, but it's worth it to be with the one that you love.I'm so sick of hearing wives complain constantly about being "stuck here because of HIM" using that as a guilt trip to get whatever they want, etc when they never step outside their house. Unfortunately this is all too common...
If you're not a very independent person, it's time to become one.
