Bethenny Ever After
I have still been watching even though the show is kind of painful and intrusive. Bethenny is funny but so neurotic that she can really grate on the nerves.
I'm not surprised that Julie is leaving her job but what I am surprised at is Bethenny is not hiring a seasoned older assistant to replace her.
I'm not getting the whole Skinny girl empire. I love the margaritas but not sure I would buy the workout clothes, food, makeup, etc.

I am more in this school of thought. I can't really get behind her. She is just SO much. She needs to go away, far away.
I used to kind of sympathize with her and enjoyed her show initially. However, I think she should have taken a step back after she sold her company to Jim Beam. The whole basis of her neuroticism has been her struggles and that she has never had any family or money. Now she has both and she still cannot stop.
I also don't understand why she wants Jason to become her business partner. It sounds like he still has the same career that he had before they got married. Why can't she just let him stick with that? It seems liker her company is so overwhelming- at least his job is somewhere where he can have his own identity.
I also lost a lot of respect for her when she told the psychiatrist that Julie was always so worked up and it created negative energy. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
Agree! I fast forward through them and couldn't watch most of the sailing episode a few weeks back because of this.

WAIT! I missed that episode...I think Julie (from a viewers perspective) is a very doting PA moreso than others out there. The way she was when Bethanny went to the hospital in labor...I never saw such a caring person who paid special attention to detail, unless it has come from my own family members!
Julie needed to be given a lot more credit than that...maybe Bethanny was hurt over the decision for Julie to leave?
It seems as though the decision was made a while ago, there was some foreshadowing a few weeks back in an client meeting.
I cannot stand these scenes!!!
