I just recently purchased all new stainless steel appliances.
How do you clean yours?
With soap/water? A vinegar mixture? Disinfectant wipes?
Do you use a sponge, towel, or paper towel?
If you have a stove that is stainless steel, but has non-stainless steel stove top, do you do anything different?
Re: Cleaning Stainless Steel
I have a stainless steel cleaner, not sure what it's called though, but it's very chemically. I looked up some other options online and found something that said you could use a soft cloth/rag with white vinegar. I've tried it a couple of times and it seems to work well. I switch between that and the cleaner, only because I want to use up the cleaner.

We typically use stainless steele cleaner, mostly because if theres not a cleaner that says what it is for and how to use it FI wont know how to do it and therefore wont clean it.
I have found olive oil with a microfiber cloth works, but you gotta rub for a while or it feels greasy, but it does take off all the fingerprints!

I use windex and paper towels, works every time!
Ditto..Only difference is we use simple green stainless steel cleaner( Home Depot) instead of Weimans.
I don't have alot of stainless steel to clean.

I have yet to find something that works well. Currently I use Weiman's stainless steel cleaner, but it's very chemical-y and leaves streaks. I've tried vinegar, windex, and stainless steel wipes but they all left awful streaks. I saw something on Pinterest that uses water, vinegar, and a few drops of dish soap. I'm going to try that next, or I'll see if I can find the Simple Green stuff that pp uses.
For a ceramic/glass stove top, use a cleaner specifically made for it. I use Weiman's for stove tops, plus a scrubby sponge designed for a glass stove top. For really burnt on stuff I use a razor blade (no, it doesn't scratch it. My owner's manual said to use it and it works really well) and then I follow everything with windex. Some people use baking soda + vinegar but that didn't work very well for me.
