Re: Yes another Vegas ?, this time about transportation

  • Same. We used Ritz because their kiosk was closest to the door when we exited the terminal.

  • They're all pretty much the same, give or take a dollar or two.

You may want to consider just grabbing a cab, though, especially if you're traveling with somebody else.  They aren't that much more expensive and you'll get to your hotel faster.

  • we've always just taken a cab.
  • The airport is super close to the strip so I would just take a cab.

  • you can see the strip from LAS - a cab ride is less than $20.  with a shuttle, you have to wait for it to fill up and then drop off everyone else at their hotels (assuming you aren't the first one off).  not how i want to start a vacation.

  • Take a cab and don't let them take the freeway -- it's a higher fare.

  • Cab it.  Throw in a "X Hotel please.....and don't take the highway"  They will otherwise get on the highway and overcharge you.  They are sneaky like that out there.
  • We typically rent a car, but the few times we haven't we have just grabbed a cab.

  • Thanks everyone!! We are going to take a cab, we had the same thoughts you guys did about the shuttles (thats what we did the last time we were there)

HUGE thanks for the hint about the highway!!!

    We leave tomorrow- yahoo!
