Re: How Was Everyones Easter?
I took a sailing class Sat and Sun all day. The wind was great both days. DH stayed home and worked on the yard and restoring my 18 foot sailboat. After one more 1/2 day sailing trip with an instructor I will be certified to rent sailboats (25 to 40 feet long) at the nearby marina.
DH grilled pork chops and made dinner Sat night and we had another couple over. Went out to dinner with the neighbors fri night. The weekend went by fast.
Dh gave me a chocolate bunny for Easter. Bought half price easter candy on the way in to work today.
Saturday a friend of ours had a surprise 30th birthday party, they did a 'wine tasting' party everyone brought there go to bottle and her mom made some yummy food. it was great!! I had a good time after a long day at work (which was a mess).
Then Sunday my parents invited us down for dinner so we made the trip down, And I went over to see my two little nieces hunt for the egg's which was so cute the girls are almost 4 and almost 2 so they went 100% sure of the eggs and what to do with them lol. now I'm thinking about a trip to the store for some of that marked down Easter candy!!
Our Easter was great! We hosted both of our families and it turned out wonderful. The food was great, everyone had a lot of fun, and it was stress free.
The only not-so-perfect thing was that my Mom didn't come. She got 'sick' and stayed home but whatever...I don't think anyone missed her not being there lol
DH and his Dad got our bathroom renovations done and installed the new outdoor lights that we bought. His mom and I did some shopping
We had Monday off and then took Tuesday as an extra day off. Yesterday we slpet in, I got my hair cut and we didn't do much else!
