Rec's for a May wedding, please!
Okay, I'm going to a wedding the last weekend of May. The ceremony starts at 3:30 and is at a church, and the reception will follow at a different church. After I got married and got totally out of my exercise routine, I of course put on some weight. Unfortunately, this was just enough that most of my dresses no longer fit right (or at all, in some cases). 
I would say I'm probably about a size 12 in dresses right now. I am not large chested, so most of my weight is in the mid section. I prefer dresses that are no shorter than 2 inches above the knee. I have short brown hair and fair skin and stay away from lighter colors of clothing because they tend to wash me out. Purple and turquoise are two of my favorite colors to wear, but I like a lot of other colors as long as the tones work with my skin.
I look pretty good in v-necks, but nothing too plunging. Most of my dresses are sleeveless, but sleeves are fine if they are not capped or long (too hot).
I guess that should be enough to challenge you if you dare help me search for something!

Good questions! I don't know her colors, so I will try to find out. I am not a big shopper, but I tend to gravitate toward Macy's, TJ Maxx, Ross and Target because they are closest to me. I also like Kohl's and Marshall's, and occasionally I shop at online sites. I don't like clingy fabrics (i.e., jersey) because they show the curves I'd rather de-emphasize. I tend to buy most stuff under $50, but I'm willing to go higher if I think I'll get a lot of wear out of it. Depending on the dress, I may have to buy shoes as well, so I want to be mindful of that.

Am I on the right track?
I really like that second one. The first one's "v" is a little too deep, but I like the color. The third one is very pretty, but I think the fabric might be a little too "drape-y." Thanks for the input!
