He just can't seem to get it together. First, the Lakers don't want him and now the Mavericks don't want him either. WTF is his issue?? Glad he has a ride or die like Khloe to stay by his side, b/c the other sisters would've been done.

Re: Lamar Odom...Smh
He was also involved in a horrific accident last year (not driving) in which a 15 year old died.
this accident happened when he was in NY attending his cousin's funeral who had been killed.

I didn't know about the accident. Poor guy.
It's not as much as that the Lakers didn't want him, but they wanted another player, so he was a pawn in that trade. After that fell through, he had hurt feelings, and he was the one that wanted to leave. I agree with everyone else about his current issues that affected him this season.
I wouldn't be too harsh on him. And if he had someone that wasn't "ride and die", maybe it would be good that they were leaving him because they'd be crappy SOs anyway.
Lamar wasn't traded from the Lakers because he was a bad player, it was quite the opposite. They couldn't get who they originally wanted unless they offered up some good talent.
I like Lamar and he's going through a rough time. It only makes sense that with all he's going through it's affecting his game as well. I hope things get better for him.
Lamar has had a great deal of personal issues this yr, but as his wife Khloe would/should "ride or die" with him right?!
His talent on the court was never an issue with the Lakers- he was highly honored last season (6th man award) , they were trying to trade him for younger talent. He did not fit wit Dalla no biggie. I am sure Mark Cuban is a real peach to work for
IIRC, he's the one who decided to be benched for the rest of the year. Not that Dallas "doesn't want" him.
As for Khloe, I give her all the kudos in the world for the respect with which she treats her relationship. When Lamar was in the playoffs, she passed on a family vacation so she could support her spouse. When Lamar was traded to Dallas, she moved there with him. Unlike Kim, Khloe actually "gets" that her relationship with her husband is the most important relationship in her life. It comes before her relationship with the rest of her family (who is still very important to her) and before her career, too.
