"My inclination is to say he overreacted against an unarmed person. But if I were in his shoes, felt threatened, and had my gun on me, who is to say I would not have done the same? I live in a semi-rough part of town, when I walk the dogs with DD I see a few sketchy people and some rickety fences holding back tough looking pit mixes. My H encourages me to have a weapon on me and has said if I ever do get put in that situation to go for it 100% and not just aim for a kneecap. I feel for both sides, I don't see any winners here, it's a bad situation all around. I don't think it was a hate crime though."

Re: Bump c&p re: Zimmerman
Well of course it wasn't a hate crime. Those gated communities in Florida are dangerous.
Duh, people.
