LA hotel- Marriott

I am going to LA over Memorial day weekend. I am looking for a cheaper Marriott to stay at. It has to be a Marriott property because I am using points on a couple of nights. I was looking at the LAX/ century blvd Courtyard. I know this probably isnt the most convient place to stay but how far out of the way is it from everything?

We are doing the Warner Brothers tour, have tickets to the Price is Right, do Rodeo dr, walk of fame, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, etc. We will have a car and dont mind driving but dont want to spend all of our time in the car.

If you think this is to far what other Marriotts would you suggest. This one is around $100 a night, we probably wouldnt want to pay more than $125 so I know our options are limited.

Re: LA hotel- Marriott

  •  It's probably about 20 - 30 minutes to the places you've listed.   Given the price range, the hotel itself is okay if you aren't expecting to spend a lot of time there. However, it's not at all scenic. You are surrounded by the airport, and places you won't really want to walk around (especially at night).

Your travel time will be impacted by the traffic and construction on Selpulveda Blvd. If you stagger your times, you should be okay.
