i caught a glimpse of myself at the gym today and i am looking really washed out. i am going to L.A. next week and while i'm there a couple of friends and i are going down to Laguna for a couple of nights (RHW of OC territory). i need some brightening up so i don't feel totally gross when we go out. i'm thinking about getting a partial foil but i really need some color, too. i've had skin cancer so i won't do tanning beds or the real sun. i'm afraid of spray tans after someone's experience on here (i think it was starlet?) with migraines after a spray tan. what should i do? bronzer? are there good self tanners? i want something that goes on evenly and is more brown than orange. thoughts/advice?
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
Re: help i need some color
I'm obsessed with Arbonne's self tanner. Only doing it once gives me color! Jergens lotion is okay too, but it takes longer.
I was the one with the bad spray tan experience. Instant migraine and it ended up causing a sinus infection.
hmm wierd, i've never had a reaction to a spray tan like that!
do you have a Sephora near you? I use their brand of at home spray tan..it's just an aerosal can and it's super easy to apply and looks natural. It's like $13 a can and i use it whenever i have to go to a wedding for some additional color. You just spray it on, rub in a bit (i didnt even know i was supposed to rub until the 3rd time i had used it! haha).
if you want to try a spray tan at a salon, VersaSpa is the best brand of spray tan i've ever had. i think spray tans are ridiculously expensive though and aren't in my budget.
good luck!
I've never used this, but my coworker uses it and agrees she likes the product. Keep us posted!
