What to wear to a club on Saturday?

We're going out Saturday night for DH's friend's birthday.  They're buying a VIP table at a club in Atlanta.  The website for the club has some photo galleries and I checked them out to get a general idea of what people wear there.  Pretty much all the women in the pictures are in tight, short dresses.  They're also all about 23 and I'm 31.  Any ideas on something age appropriate for me to wear?  I'd love to just do skinny jeans but there was not a single picture of a woman in jeans (although they could just not put those ladies in their gallery, who knows).

ATL girls, the club we're going to is Reign if anyone has been there.  Thanks!

  • I'd wear skinny jeans and a cute going out top. But if you want to wear a dress I would wear a dress like this with a blazer and cute sandals or pumps. I just bought this dress in Navy.

  • My roommate in college *loved* going out to clubs and she would not let any of us wear jeans if we went with.  It was black pants and a cute top or a dress/skirt.

  • What about a pair of skinny black pants (like the always skinnies from the Gap?) and a fun "going out" top

I'm actually wearing those pants right now :)  My fun top selection is pretty slim though.  I'm really wishing I had bought this:

This dress should be coming in the mail today in solid black, would this work maybe with a fun colored blazer over it?  It's hard to tell but it's a blouson top with a banded hem.

  • I think you'll be fine in black pants or skinny jeans. I went to Reighn last month and wore this. I didn't feel under dressed:

Thanks!  I was hoping you'd show up in this post since I know you're from the area :)  I just need to find a cute top ...

  • Hey!  Aren't you a dentist?  Will you PM me your office location?  I need to get a second opinion.  The dentist I've been going to says I need two crowns.  I have no dental insurance so I want to get a second opinion to see if it's absolutely necessary or if I can put it off for a little while.  My dentist is always trying to push me into spending money on stuff like veneers and zoom, which makes me kind of not trust her when she says I really must have these crowns done right away.  I'm in Marietta, and if you are anywhere near me I'll probably make an appointment.  If you aren't close, maybe you can refer me to someone.

If you aren't the dentist on this board, then please disregard this post :)

It won't let me send a PM from my iPad but I'll shoot you one tomorrow.  I think I'd be close enough for you :)
