in the Student Services side of my department.
They are swamped with student enrollments and questions, have about 500 unanswered emails, complain about it during slow times without actually trying to get caught up on their emails; they are checked out.
Their supervisor doesn't know what the hell he's doing and doesn't help worth a damn.
The dean of our department is trying to delegate, but with the bad blood between him and a few people over there, they aren't taking him seriously.
I have a suspicion that I will be "chosen" to help them out...but I know next to nothing about what they do. They handle lots and lots of money, and because of our REALLY crappy database, it can screw us over pretty easily. If they mess up all the time, what do you think I'm going to do?
