Best dry hair treatment

Hey Nesties!

What is the best treatment for dry colored hair? Im thinking of a once a month kinda thing.

Thanks!

Re: Best dry hair treatment

  • I've done some research and will be trying a mixture of olive oil and honey.  I found it on pinterest.  It said to leave it on for a half an hour or overnight with a shower cap.  Haven't tried it yet, but it certainly sounds like it should work and it's cheap.

  • I use coconut milk (fresh is best but where am I going to get it? So I use canned purchased from grocery store or asian market). I open the can, use a small amount, freeze the rest and unfreeze when needed. I use it once a week, apply, leave in hair for 30 minutes and ta-da! Natural conditioner.

My mom used to do this for me when I was a little kid just picked up the routine last year again after trying so many different leave-in conditioners and got tired of spending so much money on crap that didn't work.
