No, not for my health or for a pregnancy...but for a job offer for H.
H interviewed with another law firm after being contacted by them last week. He is an accountant and the position was a perfect fit for him. they offered him the job on Friday but the pay was not what we would consider for a move. He turned down the offer.
they called him back this morning and said in the message that they want to make it work for us financially. please keep your fingers crossed for us that they give us what H asks for and what we need. Then i might not feel so guilty for not working full time right now and we can feel more comfortable financially.
thanks ladies
Re: Fingers crossed please
UPDATE:
ugh...they didn't really change much. basically they "offered" to change his first offer from a salaried position, to an hourly, non-exempt position. no change is pay was offered. i was like, "so basically they told u that u can make more money if u work more hours??" whatever. also, who's to say they don't restrict the overtime available!? jerks.
