I cannot find jeans that look good on me and I also do not know what styles are "in" I am very fashion challenged and need help!
I am a 34 year old mom with kids in elementary school. I am between a size 14 and 16 right now. I am losing weight so I don't want to spend a fortune on these jeans.
Any suggestions on styles, colors, where to get them?
thanks!
Re: Where to get jeans?
The Buckle has great jeans for all kinds of shapes. Just focus on the fit and style and don't worry about the length - at 5'3 you will probably need to get any jeans hemmed unless you're planning on wearing them with heels.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
When I was in the middle of weight loss, Old Navy is where I got my jeans - especially when they were on sale. Also, Seven brand was very flattering when I was a size 12-14, they usually have them at a lower price at Marshalls or TJ Maxx.
If you have a Plato's Closet near you, you can try different brands without spending a lot of money per pair.
Loft has jeans in Petite. I am 5'6" and the petite length in the skinny and straight styles are perfect with flats for me. Loft always has sales and coupon codes too.
I love love love my jeans from White House Black Market. They are on sale right now. They also have great stuff on clearance. (I love the Blanc bootcut and flare cut)
Old Navy jeans don't work at all. The waist is either really big and/or the butt is too small.
GAP used to be my go to pair until I found WHBM.

My favorite non-designer jeans are Loft and the Limited. They always have sales too.
ON jeans fit me horribly. Though I did have one maternity pair from there that fit perfectly and lasted well through 2 pregnancies
But overall, I can't find jeans that fit me there and they always stretch out in the butt, which is a problem for my already flat butt
Hello,
I recommend Not Your Daughters Jeans, because they are soft, comfy, and stylish. They are not cheap though. I have 2 pairs - 1 black and 1 dark blue denimn with cute little crystals on the back pockets. I paid about $100 each at Macys. If you keep your jeans for years it is worth the investment. I wear them all the time b/c they are easy to wear and move around in. I dont feel stiff or confined like some jeans tend to do. and I can dress them up or down with various tops and shoes.
