I just got an iphone and would like to know if there are any favourite H&F related apps anyone can suggest?
Re: Iphone Apps
Lurker coming out to tell you about the RunKeeper app. I use it on all my runs to track my miles and pace. It's so simple and easy to use and I love it.
I also have the MyFitnessPal app to track calories. I never use it, but it does seem pretty user friendly if you are trying to watch your intake.
I *love* the True Weight app
I like Gym Buddy to help keep track of my weights
RunSpeeds is also another good one but it's kind of clunky to use
There's a free Gymboss one if you like interval training
I also like the My Fitness Pal app
j+k+m+e | running with needles
great idea for a post!
I like the loseit app for calorie counting. And I use something called daily tracker to keep my H&F to-do lists, weights etc. organized.
I also use LoseIt! for calorie tracking. That's what I used to start my weight loss journey - I lost 35 lbs, but would still like to lose another 10 - 15. I also use Nike+ when running to track my distance and pace.
I have a ton.
Nexercise is fun. You get rewards for logging exercises. You can add friends and compare your workouts. I like it so far.
Beatburn Treadmill and Beatburn Cycling are great too. The Treadmill one basically coaches you through a run based on parameters you set, and it is supposed to challenge you more as you progress (I'm new to the app so I'm not sure how well that works yet). I am using it for speedwork, and it really does a nice job of changing up the treadmill routine.
Zombies, Run! is pricey, but a fun running game. Basically, you are one of a few survivors in a post-zombie world, and your job is to run to complete various missions. It is something interesting to do when you are out for a run.
If yoga is your thing, All-In yoga is nice. I use that for some yoga routines late at night or on my lunch breaks. You can choose your focus, and it will give you a series of poses based on your focus.
Runkeeper is a great alternative to a Garmin for tracking your miles and time.
I'm also using 100 Pushups to keep me on track for pushups. I'm almost halfway through the program, and did 55 pushups yesterday, in blocks of 9-13 at a time. A big improvement in a short time thanks to the app.
I probably have more, that's all I can think of offhand.

Thank you for the suggestions everyone!
I have downloaded runkeeper and my phone came with Nike +. I don't think I will need both.
I will defiantly be looking into the ones suggested.
