When to pay the real estate lawyer?
So things have happened super fast since my last post, we found a house, hired an inspector, didnt like what we saw on the report, walked on that deal and now found another house whew! : )
I got a call from the RE lawyer today that the revised contract was in ( the first one wasn't something I would sign) and to come by and sign it and dont forget to bring my checkbook. I didn't think about it until after I got off the phone, but doesnt the lawyer get paid at closing or am I just misinformed?
