XM/Sirius Radio coupons?

HI I have an XM /sirius radio in my truck. I got it with the three on a three month trail. I want to keep it but not pay full price if you know of any coupon codes please share.

 Thanks

Re: XM/Sirius Radio coupons?

  • Haha....I am convinced that XM has to be the biggest game ever.  Every year, I go through the same thing just to keep mine!

So, all you have to do is call them.  You can try asking if they are offering any current promotions.  I usually ask, but they always tell me none are available for me.  They will then ask "Do you want to cancel your service?", and when you say yes, they will transfer you to "another department".  This "department" may or may not offer you a promo, but usually by the 3rd person you speak to, someone will ask "Will you consider staying with us if we can offer you a promotion?"  They may even have to consult with a "supervisor".  Currently, the best deal you can get for a year is 80-something.

I do this twice a year for both radios we have, and it's always the same outcome.  considering this is your first renewal, it might be easier.  But beware, it automatically renews at the higher rate unless you call.

I HATE playing their ridiculous game and am convinced that rates would be lower if they didn't have to hire so many fake departments!

  • Thanks so much I will try that. I really have been enjoying the radio and my commute now and I don't want to give it up.

  • Update I called this morning and the first lady I spoke to made no deals and was rather blunt in her telling me "no deal" I called back later in the after noon (after lunch and spoke to a nice lady who immediately offer a six month deal, I told her I wanted a year subscription so she knocked off $80.00.

  • Glad to hear it!  I hate dealing with them so much, but I do love my XM.
