I'm so lost.
It's my first year doing taxes in Spain and I don't know what I have to declare from the US. Can you e-mail the embassy asking if they have a list of professionals used to working with Americans or are they going to bite my head off?

Hmmm, it's possible that the US Embassy folks are used to dealing with this and could answer that or perhaps refer you to an accountant who specializes in these kinds of issues. Does the Spanish version of the IRS have any kind of walk-in customer service? I wouldn't be too hopeful, but you could try...
We're going to give it a try tomorrow morning since it's the last day I can go. Love how everything official here is open until 2 pm at latest!
